Spring 2018 Trip: Day 34 - Farm & Forestry Museum

State Parks can have loads of things to do in them if you have time. So far we've taken an eagle walk, seen a plantation house, and even searched houses by candlelight. So being our last day here, it's time to check out the Farm & Forestry Museum located here at Chippokes Plantation State Park.

But first, went to Anna's Pizza and Italian Restaurant in Surry, Virginia. Then after dropping off the leftovers at the RV, we drove to the same parking lot we met at for the moonlight walk and ran across the street.

The Farm and Forestry Museum. Buildings filled with older farming equipment and other antiquities.

Are you tired of all the stuff yet? Just a crazy amount of items that aren't used much these days.

They even have their own resident rabbit, Peter, on hand in a bunny hutch.

When you're done with the museum, you can walk across the street and have a look at the farm animals on hand. We were promised cats, but that promise was broken...

This guy actually broke the fence trying to eat the clover on the other side!

After seeing all the duckies and everything, we decided to walk the same path we did on the midnight walk down to the plantation house.

Making it down to the house, it was pretty quiet without any visitors or tours being led. We turned around and headed back down the path.

And that counts as our walk for the day!
